Solving the misinfodemic of yoga's meaning

Description:  I've been invited back to Harvard to give a TED-style lightning talk! The subject of this weekend is Misinfodemics: How the spread of false science harms the public's health. I'll be presenting a 12-minute talk titled, "5-minute yoga sequence to lose weight fast!": Solving the misinfodemic of yoga's meaning through cultural appreciation.

Yoga for Breast Cancer Pop-up: Flow for a Cure

Description: Join me for a breast cancer fundraising class. $10 donation, and 100% of the profits are donated to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.

Namaste Saturday at the MFA

Date: Saturday, December 14th

Time: 9-10 am

Location: Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Description: Come see the MFA in a new light, with a one-of-a kind experience of a morning yoga practice in the soaring glass Shapiro Family Courtyard, before the Museum opens for the day. Yogis are encouraged to bring their mats, build friendships, and feel the energy of the art that surrounds you. After class, explore the galleries, visit that exhibition you’ve been meaning to catch, or grab a post-yoga cup of coffee in the New American Café.

Doors open at 8:30am. All attendees must enter through the Huntington Avenue entrance.

All participants will be required to sign waivers upon arrival to event. Yoga mats must be checked at coat check after class if you plan to explore the Museum.

Holiday Truffle-Making & Self-Massage

Date: Thursday, November 29th, 2018

DescriptionJoin us at Hall for a holiday season kickoff. Boston-based yoga teachers Natasha Gayl and Lacey Gibson will lead us through an evening of self-care. We will begin the event with a seated meditation and self-massage with doTERRA essential oils. Next, we will involve everyone in an interactive peppermint hot chocolate truffle-making session. These truffles are vegan, decadent, and made with delicious Taza chocolate. Finally, Hall will provide us with dinner (gluten free and vegetarian options available) alongside our take-home truffle treats.     

Price: $20 (dinner included)
